Located within 5 minutes drive is the iron age hill fort of Cissbury Ring and only 20 minutes away is Devil’s Dyke.

For bird watchers, the Arundel Wetland Centre has 26 hectares of naturalised landscapes and wetland habitats holding many hundreds of exotic wildfowl from around the world, some of which are so tame that they will feed straight from the hand.

The Weald & Downland Open Air Museum is set in 50 acres of beautiful Sussex countryside and allows you to wander amongst a fascinating collection of historic buildings dating from the 13th to the 19th century, many with period gardens, together with farm animals, woodland walks and a picturesque lake.
