The most prominent feature of the countryside in West Sussex is the dramatic chalk ridge of the South Downs providing spectacular views and walks. Located within 5 minutes drive is Cissbury Ring and only 20 minutes away is Devil's Dyke. Whilst exploring the area why not pay a visit to some of the beautiful villages such as Steyning and Bramber or even Arundel and the impressive Castle. Consider Chichester with the spectacular Cathedral, and Petworth with an abundance of antique shops as well as Petworth House a National Trust Property. All are locations with immense historical interest and are within easy reach of us.
For those who prefer an active holiday, Southwater Country Park is within a 5-mile radius. There you can partake in a number of outdoor activities, including swimming in the lake, various water sports, fishing and cycling. Why not join up to the South Downs Link Cycle Route which is within 10 minutes of the Honeybridge Park.
For horse lovers there is racing at Fontwell, Lingfield, Brighton and Goodwood, as well as show jumping at Hickstead. Classic cars are regularly put through their paces at the special meetings held at Goodwood Motor Racing Circuit. There are also several excellent leisure centres Steyning, Southwater, Horsham, Henfield & swimming pools namely The Pavilions In The Park and The Triangle.
If you enjoy golf then visit one of the 22 local courses including Pulborough, Copthorne, Cottesmore, Mannings Heath or Chichester.
